48V Forklift Battery

48V is the most common forklift battery class in the world fleet, covering the mainstream counterbalance trucks and warehouse equipment most sites run. Torphan's 48V lithium range is the Li-Power 51-series — 51.2 Vdc lithium iron phosphate packs from 200 Ah to 560 Ah, for all electric warehouse equipment.

Weight and size are customised on this platform, because the 48V battery is also part of the truck's counterweight system: the lithium pack is supplied in a tray matched to the truck so stability and fit stay exactly as the truck maker intended. The same datasheet records OEM and ODM service, free training and a free demo, with a 5-year warranty on the series.

What the 48V lithium pack changes

The product case for the 48 volt lithium battery set is direct: twice the run time of the lead-acid set it replaces, lasting three times longer, with exceptional lifetime value as the result. The packs are built from lithium iron phosphate cells, require no maintenance or watering, can be installed in any orientation, and charge five times faster than lead acid — which is what makes opportunity charging practical on a busy 48V fleet. One battery then covers the shift pattern that used to need a spare lead-acid battery and a changing routine.

Fleet fitment

The 48V class cuts across every brand in the manufacturer's mixed-fleet programme — Heli, Hangcha, Toyota, Crown, Hyster-Yale, Raymond, Jungheinrich, Caterpillar, Doosan, Mitsubishi and Combilift. The 200 A continuous operating current and 300 A peak current in the manufacturer's literature belong to the 48V tray series built around capacities to 48 V/304Ah — three tray types matched to the truck, with side battery changing as an option — and are not shared ratings of the Li-Power 51-series models in the table above, whose charge currents run from 100 A to 250 A by model.

Ordering

Send the truck brand and model, confirm 48V, and state the capacity you run today or the hours you need to cover. The quote is built on the Li-Power 51-series table, with the TOR6108 48V charger (100 A rated) paired where a charger is needed. Minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed on quotation.
