The charger is built on high-frequency switch power supply technology with a modular construction: PFC unit, power conversion unit, monitor unit, display unit, electrical and communication protection units, and the charging connection. The charging process is fully automatic, with intelligent charge management for the battery connected.
Why the charger matters to the battery
Charging a lithium pack is a controlled process, not a bulk pour of current. The selection rule is simple: read the battery specification for its maximum charge voltage and current, and never let the charger exceed either. CANbus communication closes the loop — the BMS reports the pack's state and the charger follows it — which removes the overcharging risk that exists when a charger keeps pushing a full battery, including when the truck sits connected outside working hours.
The practical result is the charging performance the forklift pages describe: the pack charges at the rate its datasheet and the charger's current allow — the 1 to 2 hour full charge in the manufacturer's industrial battery record applies to the pack-and-charger pairings it covers, and the quote states the expected charge time for your pair — with safe opportunity charging in short breaks, because the charger and the BMS manage every session together.
Choosing and ordering
Match three things: the truck battery's voltage class (24V, 48V, 80V or 120V in this series), the current your turnaround time needs, and the connector — Anderson, GB charging gun, REMA or a customer agreement connector. Protection covers over-temperature, over-voltage, over-current, short circuit and reverse connection, and the MTBF is 80000 hours. Send the battery voltage and capacity with your inquiry and the charger model is quoted as a matched pair with the pack. Minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed on quotation.
