Factor 1: voltage class and capacity
Price follows energy. A 24V pallet jack pack at the 5.24 kWh entry point and an 80V pack at 44.8 kWh are different amounts of battery by almost nine times, and their prices differ accordingly. Within a class, capacity steps (205 Ah to 560 Ah in the Li-Power tables) move the price in proportion to the cells inside.
Factor 2: the tray and fitment work
A forklift battery is also a counterweight. Custom tray dimensions and weight matching — customised size, capacity and weight across the Li-Power platform — are real engineering and steel, and they are in the price. A quote that ignores the tray is not quoting the same product.
Factor 3: the charger
A lithium battery needs a matched charger. The TOR6107 series (6 kW, CANbus communication with the BMS) is a significant component; a quote with charger and a quote without are not comparable. Factor in the old lead-acid charger's unsuitability before comparing headline numbers.
Factor 4: lithium versus lead-acid on total cost
The manufacturer's comparison is that a lithium traction battery costs roughly twice the lead-acid equivalent at purchase. The offsets: cycle life 2 to 3 times longer, charging energy use about 40% lower, no watering labour, no spare batteries for multi-shift work, and no battery room. Any price comparison that stops at the invoice is missing most of the cost of the lead-acid option.
Getting an exact price
Forklift battery prices are quoted per specification: send the truck brand and model, voltage, capacity, quantity and delivery country through the quote form, and the reply prices the exact pack, tray and charger combination. Minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed on quotation.
